My Fellow Texans, If you want to learn/compete at autocross at the best site in Texas for the best price, come to the Texas A&M Sports Car Club’s June 20th *and 21st* Autocross Practice. $20 for on-site non-member registration, per day, or $30 for both days. It is not a classed/heated event, so cars can run basically whenever, however many times they want.
We use Texas A&M’s Riverside Campus, which is an old WWII Air base, using the intersection of 2 Bomber runways for a massive site with one of the best surfaces possible. You Might have seen some video recently on the Front page with my friend’s Truck, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

This is just a glimpse of the variety of cars that show up. The Cobra will finally be in Texas, and it will be my first autocross with it, and I’m very excited.
For more information: please see our Facebook Group, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Request to be added, and it will happen quite quickly. All our summer autocross practices and autocross competition events will be fund under the “Events” tab on the page.
TL;DR? Best Autocross in Texas; $20 per day or $30 for both; June 20th and 21st; Texas A&M Riverside Campus; See more info !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Stef, I know you love our Mustang! Did you ever hear of BDC when you were at Baylor at all?

I used to bring my Miata out a bunch with BDC. Haven’t been out in a while. Might have to try to drive down from Ft. Worth in my new SS for some autocross.

Do it! I think I’ve seen it through the BDC page!

Dammit, people. Stop just using tape for your numbers. It is extremely difficult to accurately call you in when you inevitably DNF. Unless that’s your goal.

Is there anyway to get the info if you don’t have facebook?

Yes, I can give you the info here. It’s $20 per day (now a saturday and sunday event) or $30 for both for non-members. Location is the Texas A&M Riverside Campus that can be found on Google Maps at this link. Gates are open 8am-2pm, there will be port-a-potties on site, but there isn’t any lunch on site. It’s unlimited runs for the entire day. It’s a very nice site and the Summer practices are a big attraction for a lot of the pro guys who want to test and tune, so you might see some interesting cars out there. Anything else you would like to know?
